![]() Get in the Holiday Spirit By Ken Thompson, AHC The Strober - Haddonfield Group / Commercial Door Division - Mt. Holly, NJ It's that time of the year again to help those less fortunate during the holiday season. Our Chapter is again collecting for the Toys for Tots Program at our December 10, 2002 meeting. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the meeting and you will receive $ 5.00 off your dinner bill. I will be taking the toys to the local U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots collection point. Over the years, Marines have discovered that social welfare agencies and churches are the best qualified to identify the neediest children in the community and play key roles in the distribution of the toys. For those of you that may not know what to give, I have listed below a list of classic toys from Dr Toy's web site (http://www.drtoy.com) recommended by the Toys for Tots Program. If you want a list of the 100 best toys of 2000, you can either go to the above web site or contact me and I will fax you a list (work 609-518-9537 ext.13, home 856-933-1840, E-mail Kenahc1@aol.com) . Remember, by bringing a new unwrapped toy to the next meeting you can make this holiday season a little brighter for a child in the Delaware Valley and you can save $ 5.00 off your dinner that evening. Happy Holidays!
